Courting fresh controversy, Pakistan has released an official video song on Kartarpur Corridor with Khalistani leaders Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale, Amrik Singh Khalsa and Major General (Dismissed) Shabeg Singh, displayed in the video's background reports India Today.
All these Khalistani separatist leaders were killed during Operation Blue Star in June 1984.

The video has raised eyebrows as with a large number of pilgrims set to visit the site, images of the Khalistani separatist leaders in the background are being seen as an attempt to instigate pro-Khalistan feelings and point to a hidden Pakistani agenda.
Punjab CM Amarinder Singh has also criticised the Pakistani government’s attempts to rekindle the Khalistan issue.

Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh said, "We cannot trust Pakistan and we should keep our eyes open as the corridor can be misused by the ISI. Controversial referendum 2020 campaign is already on in Pakistan."
