Sources have revealed that Rahul Gandhi is considering relocating to the residence of former Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit in the national capital.

The house in question, located at B2 Nizamuddin East in South Delhi district, is currently occupied by Sandeep Dikshit, Congress MP and son of Sheila Dikshit.

Insiders close to Gandhi have stated that he is currently in the process of moving to a different building within the same area.

However, the final decision is yet to be made, pending security approval as Gandhi is provided with Z-plus security.

In April, he was disqualified from Lok Sabha due to his conviction in a criminal defamation case by a Gujarat court. As a result, he had to vacate his house.

Currently, Gandhi is living with his mother Sonia Gandhi at 10 Janpath.

According to sources, Gandhi will become a tenant of Sandeep Dikshit after obtaining a No-objection Certificate (NOC) from security agencies. He will sign a rent agreement for a 1,500 sq ft flat located behind Humayun's Tomb.
