Dibang bridge, which is 6.25 kilometres long had been opened in Arunachal Pradesh earlier this year. This is the longest bridge in the state and has provided a boost to connectivity in the northeastern state. It is also India’s second longest bridge.

Now, with yet another accomplishment, a two-lane 33 kilometre road has been completed alongside with the bridge, reported News Mobile.

Due to traffic jams and the elephant river crossing, it used to take approximately around three hours to reach the destination earlier. Praising the central government for its efforts to develop the region, Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh Pema Khandu tweeted about the same with a video.
