Sidhu In Controversy Again: Poses With Khalistani Separatist Who Has Ties With Hafiz Saaed 

After being in limelight for his display of affection towards Pakistan, Congress Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu has yet again landed in a controversy. He is seen getting clicked with Khalistani separatist Gopal Singh Chawla who apparently has links to 26/11 attack’s mastermind Hafiz Saeed.

Chawla is suspected to be involved in the recent attack on a Nirankari gathering in Amritsar. His presence with that of Pakistani army chief Qamar Javed Bajwa, at the Kartarpur ceremony, came as a last-minute surprise for India.

“What is the big deal in this? I don't know why I am dragged into everything. Why such links are created…. I have no intention of creating any terror,” quoted Chawla, as reported by News18.

When asked about his presence at Kartarpur, a Pakistani official said: “Gopal Singh Chawla is a senior leader of the PSGPC, and he is invited to all events involving the Sikh community.”
