In a bid to boost skill development in the state, Kamal Nath-led Congress government in Madhya Pradesh will train youth in band-playing, as reported by Aaj Tak.

The government which decided to give training to young people in grazing cows through the Yuva Swabhiman Yojana, has now gone a step further as the chief minister announced that the government will provide people training to play in bands.

The band training shall begin in Kamal Nath’s own constituency- Chhindwara.

While at the annual CII Federation's annual convention there was talk of increasing employment, Kamal Nath said that good earning could be earned from playing bands.

“I am putting efforts for a music band training school in Chhindwara. I wish that the band groups which perform at wedding functions across the country should be from the state of Madhya Pradesh” said Kamal Nath, as tweeted by ANI.
