As per reports, the speaker took this decision after the MPs first tore sheets of paper in the well of the house and then threw it at the speaker’s chair.
Similarly six Congress leaders were also suspended in the Lok Sabha in 2017 “for willful unbecoming conduct causing grave disorder and undermining the dignity of house”.
Congress’ leader in the Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury though refused to accept the suspension and claimed that the party will continue to agitate against the Narendra Modi led central government.
