After forcibly quarantining senior IPS officer Vinay Tiwari who has been tasked with heading the probe into actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death case, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) is likely to quarantine all other Bihar Police investigators who area already probing the matter in Mumbai, Republic TV has reported.
These police officers were already probing the case in Mumbai for the last five days and have questioned various individuals connected to the matter. The BMC has claimed that it is merely enforcing the Covid-19 guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
The decision to forcibly quarantine Tiwari, who was reportedly also denied a place in an IPS Mess had resulted in an outrage on Social Media. He has been quarantined till 15 August.
