Offering comfortable last-mile connectivity to its passengers, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has authorised e-scooters renting services at four stations - Vishwavidyalaya, Mandi House, Dwarka Sector 9, and Nehru Enclave metro stations, Livemint reported.

"To offer efficient last-mile connectivity to commuters, DMRC has authorised e-scooters renting services at 4 stations, namely Vishwavidyalaya, Mandi House, Dwarka Sector 9 and Nehru Enclave," DMRC tweeted.

The e-scooters will be provided by a company named qQuick. The service will help the DMRC to provide an eco-friendly last-mile connectivity to the customers, which is already offering bicycle sharing and e-rickshaw facility at some of its stations.

Vishwavidyalaya is situated near the University of Delhi (North Campus) on the Yellow Line, while Dwarka Sector 9 and Mandi House are on the Blue Line. Nehru Enclave is a station at the newly functional Magenta Line.

Increasing its efforts to promote eco-friendly travel among its customers, the corporation has been taking various steps. It has also recently tied up with bike-sharing app Yulu which is currently offering services from Dilli Haat (INA) to JLN Stadium metro station.
