The Yogi Adityanath-led government in Uttar Pradesh has said that it aims to roll out positive policies in the state in the area of development, education and infrastructure.

Adityanath has directed his officials to send a proposal to the central government for the opening of Sainik Schools in each mandal of the state.

He has added that establishing Sainik Schools in each mandal will help in encouraging more and more students to join the Indian armed forces as officers.

He has said that the move will also help in providing students with high quality education. He has directed officials to send a proposal to the centre.

It was announced in the Union Budget earlier this week that the central governenment aims to establish 100 new Sainik Schools.
