The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued a significant update regarding the 2023 Civil Services Main Examination's personality test. Applicants gearing up for the personality test are encouraged to visit the UPSC's official portal, upsc.gov.in, for comprehensive details.
In response to numerous appeals from participants in the personality test/interview and candidates endorsed by the CSE-2022 or earlier exams who were unable to secure service allocation prior to the DAF-I deadline for the CSM-2023, the Commission has introduced an option for these candidates to amend their service allocation preferences on DAF-1 via the official site.
This opportunity for updates will be available from February 1 until February 5, 2024, concluding at 6 pm. The Commission emphasizes that submissions past this deadline will not be considered.
The personality test is organized in two phases, with the first phase running from January 2 to February 16, 2024, and the second phase from February 19 to March 15, 2024. The schedule for the remaining candidates will be made available on the UPSC website shortly. Candidates who have passed the written examination are eligible for the personality test, and for further information, they are advised to consult the UPSC's official site.
