Ahead of the Air Force Day celebrations on 8 October, the Indian Air Force (IAF) has released its official promo for the years 2020.
The newly inducted Rafale fighters, which are set to fly during the Air Force Day celebrations, can be seen in the video.
The US-built Apache and Chinook helicopters can also be seen in the video.
While the Rafales are being operationalised, Apaches and Chinooks have been deployed in Ladakh to amid tensions with China.
“...I would like to compliment all air warriors for a job well done in what has turned out to be an extremely challenging year,” the Chief of the Air Force, Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria, says in his message, which is part of the official promo.
In the video, which comes amid tensions with China in eastern Ladakh, fighters and helicopters can be seen operating in high-altitude areas.
Sending a message to China, the IAF promo starts with a shot of a high-altitude airbase. The video also shows fighters and helicopters of the IAF operating in high-altitude areas, possibly Ladakh.
