The ISRO at sharp 2.43 PM on Monday (22 July) successfully launched the mighty GSLV Mark-III rocket carrying the Chandrayaan-2 lunar probe

As per latest updates, all the flight parameters are normal. The S200 solid rocket boosters, the twin engine L110 and CE-20 cryogenic engines were successfully fired-up and disengaged.
The main Chandrayaan-2 lunar module has now been placed into the earth’s geosynchronous transfer orbit (GTO). The lander, named Vikram, and the rover named Pragyan is expected to touch down on the lunar surface after 48 days.
