Pakistan’s Special Service Group (SSG) troops were captured on video inside Indian territory near the Poonch river in Jammu and Kashmir, as per footage from an action camera left behind by the group.

According to Army sources, Pakisatn’s SSG commandos were seen near J&K’s KG sector in the last week of August. However, they immediately rushed back to nearest Pakistani post as they sensed that Indian forces had spotted them, ANI has tweeted.

Several attempts of cross border infiltration have been made by Pakistani forces after India scrapped Article 370, giving special status to the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir, from its constitution.

Earlier, a Pakistan’s Border Action Team (BAT) intrusion had been foiled by India in the Keran sector of Jammu and Kashmir in the last week of July. The dead bodies of the five BAT commandoes lying near a forward post along the LoC are yet to be claimed by Pakistan.
