The AAP candidate’s son asserted that he had credible evidence to back up his claims. He also said that his father was willing to use his money to secure bail for two accused in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots, including Congress leader Sajjan Kumar.
Uday Jakhar revealed that his father had refused to pay for his education, and had told him that he would instead use the money to secure political benefits for himself.
