On Friday (4 February), Tibetans living in exile in India registered their protest against the Chinese Communist Party by burning China's flag outside its embassy located at New Delhi's Shanti Path.
The Tibetans, who were protesting against the Winter Olympics in China and demanding a boycott of the games, raised pro-Tibet and pro-India slogans and raised Tibetan and Indian national flags.

“The Games symbolize the spirit of love and peace but this time they are being hosted by Beijing, which is responsible for the deaths of thousands of Tibetans and human rights violations of millions of people,” Sonam Tsering, the General Secretary of the Tibetan Youth Congress, said.
Before assembling near the Chinese embassy, hundreds of Tibetan exiles held a protest rally demanding freedom for Tibet.
