Watch: Violent Anti-CAA Mob Mercilessly Assaults Cops In Ahmedabad’s Sardar Baug Area

A policeman was brutally assaulted in Gujarat’s Ahmadabad on Thursday (19 December) by a mob that was protesting against the Citizenship Amendment Act, 2019.

In a video shared on Twitter, a cop can be seen running to protect himself from the violent mob. However, the agitated crowd began showering punches, kicks, and sticks on him after he fell on the road.

There is no information as of now whether the cop was rescued or not.

In another incident from Ahmadabad, some copes were surrounded in a market area by a violent mob and pelted with bricks and stones.

The cops can be seen hiding behind chairs and shields while a big crowd continues to attack them.
