'The Kashmir Files' was a highly successful film last year, breaking records in terms of return on investment despite facing controversies and accusations of being a propaganda movie.
The makers are now planning on the release of 'The Kashmir Files Unreported'. The teaser and announcement were shared by film director Vivek Agnihotri.
This new release will feature real individuals who experienced the events depicted in 'The Kashmir Files' sharing their own experiences.
Agnihotri took to Twitter and said, "PRESENTING: A lot of Genocide Deniers, terror supporters & enemies of Bharat questioned The Kashmir Files. Now bringing to you the VULGAR truth of Kashmir Genocide of Hindus which only a devil can question. Coming soon #KashmirUNREPORTED. Be ready to cry."
Netizens have expressed their anticipation for 'The Kashmir Files Unreported' in response to the filmmaker's post.
One user commented, "Looking forward to it. I am sure it will reveal many important facts." Another user tweeted, "Looking forward to it. We must confront the wounds before finding the courage and determination to heal them."
This upcoming release will be in the form of a web-series rather than a film.
At the moment, Agnihotri is also working on a project called 'The Vaccine War', featuring actors such as Raima Sen, Anupam Kher, Nana Patekar, and Pallavi Joshi.
This film will be released in 11 different languages, including Hindi, English, Bengali, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Assamese. Originally planned for a 15 August release, 'The Vaccine War' is now expected to hit the big screens during the festival of Dussehra.
