A day after Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha alleged that the perpetrator of the NEET paper leak in Patna is linked to Tejashwi Yadav, Rashtriya Janta Dal (RJD) hit back on Friday (20 June).

Sharing a photo of BJP leader Samrat Choudhary with a person, RJD wrote on its official handle, "The main accused in the NEET exam paper leak scam with the Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar."

When Tejashwi Yadav was asked by reporters about allegations on his aide, the RJD leader said, "Why not summon my aide for questioning when Centre and State governments are theirs, investigative agencies are theirs."

He claimed that the Economic Offences Unit (EOU), which is investigating the case, has not said anything like this. He alleged that the engineer in question was brought to the Urban Development department by the BJP-JDU government.

This was in response to Sinha's questions on the paper leak accused Sikander Kumar Yadavendu, "Who brought him to the urban development department? Who made him in charge of Danapur and several places?"

"They want to divert the issue from the kingpin of paper leak. Why are they trying to save Amit Anand and Nitish Kumar (members of paper leak gang arrested by Bihar Police)?" Tejashwi Yadav questioned.

Sinha had urged Tejashwi Yadav to clarify whether Pritam Kumar is still his PS and also reveal who is Sikander Kumar Yadavendu alleging that Yadavendu used to be at Lalu Prasad Yadav's service when Lalu was in jail in Ranchi.
