Congress Chief Mallikarjun Gave '400 Paar Aashirvaad' To NDA: PM Modi In Rajya Sabha

Prime Minister Narendra Modi replied to the 'Motion of Thanks' to the President's address in the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday (7 February).

During his speech, PM Modi took a dig at Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge over his claim that the BJP-led NDA alliance will win 400 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

"Kharge Ji has given 400 paar ashirvaad to the NDA. When will he get the chance to say like that again?" PM Modi said.

He also referred to Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee's recent statement that the Congress may not cross 40 seats in the 2024 Lok Sabha election.

"I pray that you keep 40 seats," he added.
