The illegal house of Ayan Pathan was demolished by Madhya Pradesh authorities in Guna on Sunday (21 April) after he was accused of raping and torturing his Hindu neighbour.
The torture extended over a month where the accused kept the girl hostage and sexually assaulted her many times. He even put chilly powder in her private parts and glued her mouth shut using Fevikwik.
The accused damaged the girl's eyes in such a way that now she can't see with her one eye. The torture was reportedly over a property demand which was in girl's mother's name.
Initially, Ayan wanted to get the property by indulging in a romantic relationship with the girl but when his plan did not succeed, he chose torture as his method to get what he wanted.
Jyotiraditya Scindia, who is running from Guna as a BJP candidate for the Lok Sabha elections posted on X, "I hope that our daughter gets justice as soon as possible, the culprit gets severe punishment..."
