Haryana: Eight BJP MLAs Become Ministers In Nayab Saini Government, Seven New Faces

Eight Bharatiya Janata Party (MLAs) took oath to become ministers in the Nayab Saini government on Tuesday (19 March). Seven of them were appointed as the Minister of State (Independent In Charge).

They are Abhe Singh Yadav, Seema Trikha, Subhash Sudha, Mahipal Dhanda, Aseem Goel, Bishamber Singh and Sanjay Singh.

Hisar MLA Dr Kamal Gupta took oath as the Cabinet Minister. This comes a week after five BJP MLAs earlier took oath as Cabinet Ministers with Chief Minister Saini.

Kanwar Pal Gujjar, Mool Chand Sharma, Ranjit Singh Chautala, Jai Prakash Dalal and Banwari Lal took oath at that time. They were all Cabinet Ministers in Manohar Lal Khattar government also.

However, among the MLAs who took oath today only Kamal Gupta was a Cabinet Minister in Khattar government. Rest all are new faces to the ministry.

Meanwhile, Khattar got a ticket for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections from Karnal in BJP's second list. The BJP is yet to announce who will contest from Kurukshetra, the seat vacated by Saini.
