Hyderabad student bags top rank in IIT entrance exam JEE-Advanced

Vavilala Chidvilas Reddy from Hyderabad zone has secured the first rank in the IIT entrance exam JEE-Advanced, as per the results announced today (9June 18).

This year's exam was conducted by IIT Guwahati, and Reddy has scored an impressive 341 out of 360 marks.

Nayakanti Naga Bhavya Sree has secured the first position with 298 marks in the JEE-Advanced exam from IIT Hyderabad zone. She is the top female candidate in the exam.

According to a senior official from IIT Guwahati, out of the 1,80,372 students who appeared for both papers in IIT-JEE Advanced, 43,773 have qualified. Among the qualified candidates, 36,204 are male students, and 7,509 are female students who have cleared JEE Advanced 2023.

JEE-Main is the admission test for engineering colleges across the country. Students who qualify for JEE-Main are eligible to appear for JEE-Advanced.
