The upcoming Ayodhya station will be the theme of the Indian Railway pavilion at the trade fair at Pragati Maidan, Delhi.
Slated to be inaugurated on 14 November, the India International Trade Fair (IITF), is back with its 41st edition in the capital featuring participants from more than 12 countries and almost all government departments, states and Union Territories to showcase their best achievements.
Currently, the railways is redeveloping 54 major stations including the one at Ayodhya to make the buildings iconic.
The massive stall of the railways is being designed like the upcoming Ayodhya station. On completion, Ayodhya railway station will boast various passenger-friendly amenities and facilities including escalators, six lifts as well as two foot over bridges (FOBs).
The Ayodhya railway station is being constructed by Indian Railways at the birthplace of Lord Ram to facilitate easy access to Ramlala.
The railways is all set to make travelling to/from Ayodhya easier and more comfortable, and will develop the Ayodhya station in Uttar Pradesh in two phases.
The Ayodhya railway station is being equipped with world-class facilities with the first phase of the station likely to be completed by the end of this year.
Besides the facade of the Ayodhya station, the railway pavilion will also feature other mega projects like the Chenab Bridge, Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train, Vande Bharat train and DFC among others.
The theme of IITF 2022 is 'Vocal for Local, Local to Global' envisioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to achieve the goal of Aatmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India).
Countries like Canada, Mexico, Japan, Germany, France, Australia, Indonesia, China, Hong Kong, Afghanistan, Iran, Nepal, Malaysia, and Bangladesh are taking part in it.
