Madhya Pradesh Finalises Proposals Worth Rs 31,000 Crore In Regional Industry Conclave; Patanjali To Invest In Rewa, Ujjain

The Regional Industry Conclave in Rewa, Madya Pradesh (MP) held on Wednesday (23 October) wrapped up successfully with a dedicated session for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and startups.

This session highlighted the challenges that entrepreneurs encounter, examined strategies to stimulate small business growth, and explored novel approaches to strengthen collaboration.

Discussions centered on expanding startup ventures, enhancing local innovation, and attracting investment to the region. The Mohan Yadav government expressed readiness to offer various incentives to support both startups and small businesses.

"Industrialists from more than 10 states participated in the Vibrant Vindhya: Regional Industry Conclave. There was huge enthusiasm among the industrialists to invest in Madhya Pradesh," Chief Minister Yadav said.

Yadav also held one-to-one discussions with over 20 prominent industrialists including Managing Director (MD) and CEO of Dalmia Cement Puneet Dalmia and Director of Siddharth Infratech (Greenco) Madhusudan Konda.

Proposals worth more than Rs 31,000 crores were finalised in the conclave. Inland Container Depot (ICD) is set to be built in two separate locations in Rewa and a multi-model logistics park will also be constructed.

MD of Patanjali Group, Balakrishna committed to investing Rs 1,000 crore in MP, especially in Rewa for the food industry, helping farmers to generate higher income. Patanjali will also set up an Ayurvedic Wellness Centre in Ujjain.

Naresh Goyal of Rama Group has proposed to invest Rs 500 crore in Satna to develop it as a furniture centre. Special tours and packages will be made to attract domestic and foreign tourists, the CM said.

He claimed that the investments would play a big role in employing the youth of the state, generating over 14,000 jobs. 16 power grids will be established between MP and Uttar Pradesh for energy cooperation.
