In the heart of the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has voiced his deep sorrow and concern over the tragic loss of lives at the Al Ahli Hospital in Gaza.
Expressing his heartfelt condolences, he extended his prayers for the swift recovery of those injured, while also addressing the pressing issue of civilian casualties in the conflict.
Earlier, the Gaza Health Ministry's spokesperson reported a catastrophic blast at the Al Ahli Hospital, resulting in the loss of hundreds of lives. This incident, surrounded by claims and counterclaims regarding its cause, has shaken the global community.
Israel attributed the incident to a failed rocket launch by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad group, which the group strongly denied.
In contrast, Palestinian officials accused Israel of conducting an airstrike on the hospital, describing it as a "massacre."
In the midst of this distressing situation, Prime Minister Modi emphasised the need for accountability and urged that those responsible for such incidents be held responsible.
The global community, witnessing these distressing events, has reiterated the call for an immediate cessation of hostilities and a return to diplomatic negotiations.
