Ahead of the Budget session of Parliament, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday (11 July) held a meeting with leading economists.
Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman was also present at the meeting where they discussed fiscal strategies.
The full Budget for the financial year 2024-25 will be presented in the Parliament on 23 July.
The Parliament session will commence a day earlier, on 22 July, and is scheduled to conclude on 12 August.
Earlier in February this year, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had presented the interim Budget ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.
The upcoming Budget on 23 July will be Sitharaman's seventh consecutive one, making her the first finance minister in history to do so, surpassing the previous record set by Morarji Desai.
The Finance Minister held pre-budget consultations with industry stakeholders from 20 June.
Sitharaman is expected to unveil the FY25 Budget aligning with Modi 3.0 government's focus on 'Viksit Bharat'.
The Finance Minister said the government is dedicated to improving the quality of life for citizens, promising ongoing efforts.
