The consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya is scheduled to take place from 21 January to 23 January next year.
The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) will be responsible for making all the necessary arrangements for this event. Leading the management team will be senior RSS leaders Suresh Bhaiyyaji Joshi and Dattatreya Hosabale.
In Ayodhya, a two-day high-level meeting of the VHP commenced on Sunday.
Alok Kumar, the VHP international working president, announced that in preparation for the consecration ceremony, the Bajrang Dal will be organising shaurya yatras from 30 September to 15 October.
To establish a connection with over five lakh villages in the country, the Bajrang Dal plans to conduct 2,281 shaurya yatras before the consecration ceremony.
These yatras will also include religious meetings along the designated routes. The aim of this youth-driven campaign is to foster unity and determination within the Hindu society, enabling them to face both internal and external challenges.
On the day of the consecration ceremony, various monasteries and temples across the country will perform puja, yagya, havan and aarti.
Additionally, devotees of Shri Ram in every household will light five lamps in the evening, and prasad will be distributed among millions of devotees.
The VHP aims to transform the event into a festival that welcomes participation from people residing in India and abroad.
Kumar also added, "during the Diwali fortnight, seers of the country will take out foot marches and hold meetings in villages and cities to mobilise people for the event. The collective power of our temples, matts, ascetics and priests will make the event memorable."
All VHP leaders present at the meeting agreed to give this movement a comprehensive structure.
Prior to the meeting, participants witnessed the ongoing construction work at the Ram Janmabhoomi site and also had the opportunity to see Ram Lalla.
