In a recent episode on the Zee Business news channel, the spotlight turned to Sandeep, a caller extraordinaire, who left everyone in splits with his witty response to the host's question, News 18 reported.
The amusing incident unfolded when Sandeep shared his unique perspective on the stock, Olectra Greentech, declaring in Hindi, "I bought the stock for Rs. 1,260." When probed about the duration he intends to hold it, Sandeep humorously replied, "Until Rahul Gandhi becomes the Prime Minister."
The comment elicited laughter from all quarters, including the anchor and the guest, as they couldn't contain their amusement at this indirect jab at the Congress party leader who believes himself to be a contender of current PM, Narendra Modi.
Sandeep's underlying intention was evidently a long-term investment, but the way he presented it sent the internet into fits of laughter.
Reacting to the incident, one insightful user remarked, "True long-term goals... wealth creation ultra pro max," while another added, "Bro has long-term planning," and a third chimed in humorously, "Bahut long time investor hai."
Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi, often the subject of online jests, found himself on the receiving end of some good-natured banter after the Bharatiya Janata Party's success in the assembly elections of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan.
