Bulldozer Action In Madhya Pradesh: Illegal House Of Accused In Ujjain Rape Case Demolished

An action of bulldozing the illegal construction was taken against the accused involved in raping a minor girl in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, Live Hindustan reported.

A team from the municipal corporation arrived with a bulldozer on Wednesday (4 October) and immediately demolished the illegal construction of the accused upon inspection in the presence of the police.

The accused, identified as Bharat Soni, was arrested after a thorough investigation for sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl from Satna district, who recently arrived in Ujjain. The accused is a professional auto-rickshaw driver.

The family members of the accused had already begun removing their belongings before the demolition. It is noteworthy that the family of the accused had held illegal possession for 20 years.

When the administration was carrying out the bulldozing operation, a significant number of people had gathered around. However, to avoid any disturbance during this action, the police and the administration were fully prepared. The Tehsildar and Patwari were also present during the bulldozing operation.

The said house was located in the Nanakheda area. At the time of this action, the parents of the accused were present. A brother of the accused had a criminal record, who has passed away. Another brother of the accused runs a tea shop nearby.

It is said that the police are also preparing to get the accused Bharat Soni sentenced within a month in this case.
