Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has faced allegations of using inappropriate language during an Assembly session on Tuesday (7 November) while discussing the role of education in population control.

As a video of the incident circulated on social media and drew objections from several women MLAs in Bihar, Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav came to Nitish Kumar's defense, emphasising that the remarks should be understood in the context of sex education, Hindustan Times reported.

Tejashwi stated, "Let me clarify something. The Chief Minister was discussing sex education. Although this topic might make people uncomfortable, it is part of the school curriculum, taught in subjects like Science and Biology. Children learn about it. He was addressing practical measures for population control. It shouldn't be misconstrued but seen as part of sex education."

Accusations against Nitish Kumar arose due to his choice of words during the Assembly session while explaining the importance of education in managing the population.

The Bihar BJP, referring to Nitish Kumar as 'AslilNitish,' shared the video clip on its social media platform and criticised him, asserting that Indian politics has never witnessed a leader with such indecorous language.

The post stated, "Indian politics has not seen an obscene leader like Nitish Kumar. It seems that Nitish Babu's mind is infested with the insect of 'B' grade adult films. There should be a public ban on his double-meaning dialogues. It appears that he is influenced by inappropriate influences!"

The Bihar CM had said, "Man does it (sex) daily night with the one he is married to. Then reproduction takes place. If woman is educated, she would know that let not man ejaculate inside."

Reacting to the incident, BJP MLA Gayatri Devi expressed strong dissent, saying, "The Chief Minister, despite being over 70 years old, made nonsensical remarks. He used language that is entirely inappropriate. All of us women will protest against this."
