Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin who has arrived in Patna, for the meeting of opposition parties being hosted by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, said, " I have arrived at Patna and received a warm welcome from Hon'ble Chief Minister of Bihar Thiru @NitishKumar, Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Thiru @yadavtejashwi and IAS officers from Bihar Tamil Sangam here.
"Feeling elated to be in the land that has given us the likes of 'The Light of Asia' Buddha, 'Jannayak' Karpoori Thakur and Thiru. B.P. Mandal.
"No surprises that the war cry of a united opposition is from here, the land of social justice, to end this fascist, autocratic regime and allow the rebirth of a secular, democratic India."
He later met former chief minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav at his residence. Stalin touched Yadav's feet and gifted him a book on Karunanidhi.
"Met veteran leader Thiru @laluprasadrjd avargal at his residence. We all know his deep affection towards Thalaivar Kalaignar and he received me with the same warmth & wished me to hold the torch of social justice high. I wished him long life to guide us all. Getting ready for the historic meeting tomorrow."
Ahead of his visit, the hashtag 'Go Back Stalin' started trending on Twitter. Twitter users posted videos of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) leaders speaking about Biharis and the Hindi language.
Some of them were unhappy with the action taken by the government against Manish Kashyap, a YouTuber who has been arrested for allegedly uploading fake videos of attacks on migrant workers in the state.
In response, supporters of the DMK started hashtags saying 'BJP Fears Stalin' and 'Welcome Stalin.'
