On Sunday (19 November), the Israel Defence Forces announced that they had discovered 35 tunnel shafts and seized weapons in northern Gaza during a military operation conducted by Israeli soldiers.
During raids on the residences of Hamas officials in Gaza's affluent Rimal and Sheikh Ejalin neighborhoods, the presence of shafts and tunnels was uncovered. The fighting led to the death of several Hamas militants.
During the operation, Israeli forces conducted a raid on a Hamas military camp, leading to the discovery of ammunition depots and the uncovering of seven rocket launchers.
On Sunday morning, the Israeli army announced that there had been clashes between soldiers and Hamas terrorists near Jabaliya within the last 24 hours.
According to the IDF, an air strike successfully eliminated a terror cell that was planning to attack troops from the rooftop of a residential building. Additionally, weapons and military equipment were discovered in other residential buildings in the neighborhood.
Israeli Navy commandos provided support to ground forces during the conflict in Gaza. They launched attacks on Hamas targets from the sea, using a large number of munitions.
Additionally, they assisted ground forces by providing fire and observation support, protecting against land threats, and offering cover for land missions from the sea. The IDF reported these actions.
