Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that youth will not only learn to work under the 'Chief Minister Learn-Earn Scheme' in industries but also earn Rs 10,000 and 1 lakh government jobs will be available in the state again in next year.
Chouhan mentioned that Ujjain, which has been a center of spirituality, is now becoming a center for industries during his speech at the state-level Employment Day event held in the district on Friday (22 September).
The event witnessed the foundation stone laying and inauguration of 15 MSE clusters across Madhya Pradesh. A total of 552 industries will be established, providing employment to 28,300 people.
Among the 1,708 units inaugurated today, approximately 16,375 individuals will get employment.
The CM emphasized that Ujjain is on the path of continuous progress, and its entire economy has transformed. During the holy month of Shravan, more than two crore devotees visited Ujjain and the city receives 1.5 lakh devotees daily, he informed.
He also mentioned that in Ujjain, various development works have been initiated, with a total cost of Rs 554.89 crore for nine development projects.
Chouhan criticised Kamal Nath, claiming that he was the one who did not allow the installation of the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Saunsar.
"Kamal Nath committed the sin of disrespecting Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, but now efforts are being made to install his statue. The real face of Kamal Nath has been exposed," the CM added.
Chouhan attributed the significant economic growth to the blessings of Lord Mahakal. He further revealed that an additional 3,000 crore rupees are expected to be invested in Ujjain.
In addition to these developments, seven development projects in Ujjain district, costing Rs 159.99 crore were inaugurated.
Furthermore, the CM stated that a total investment of Rs 1,937 crore will come into Ujjain due to the foundation laying of land for 15 clusters.
He expressed his gratitude to Lord Mahakal for the bountiful rains and the improvement in agriculture, stating that seeking shelter in the blessings of Lord Mahakal was the only way during challenging times.
He concluded by saying, "O Lord Mahakal! Please continue to shower your blessings like this and bring happiness, prosperity, and growth to the lives of our people."
The CM also inaugurated the Bhakt Nivas (Devotee Residence) facility built at a cost of Rs 500 crore for the convenience of devotees in Ujjain.
