Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N Chandrababu Naidu has said that his party would bring the 'P4 Model of Development' to Andhra Pradesh.
P4 would stand for 'Public, Private, People and Partnership', he stated.
Elaborating on his plans, Naidu stated, "The State is right now shattered, and youth is suffering due to lack of employment. We will tie up with corporates and provide 20 lakh jobs, besides providing ₹3,000 stipend for the unemployed. Sops for women, suitable MSP for farmers, safe drinking water, affordable power, and a law for protection of BCs will be included."
Further, he said, “The USP (Unique Selling Proposition) of Indians is English language, and several virtual opportunities (work from home) can be facilitated in consultation with the corporates.”
He added that he would like to replicate his Hyderabad model of development, which would include the establishment of hubs for IT, Biotechnology, Pharmaceuticals, Finance and Sports.
Naidu expressed his disappointment with the current scenario, stating that the YSRCP government under Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has failed to bring development to the state.
Further details of the P4 model would be released on Vijaya Dashami, when the TDP would launch the second part of its manifesto.
In the first part titled, 'Bhavishyathuku Guarantee' (guarantee for the future), the party announced schemes like three free gas cylinders per year, Rs 1500 per month to every woman, free bus travel for women and Rs 20000 per year to farmers.
