Wooing Rajputs In Rajasthan? Maharana Pratap's Descendant, Karni Sena Founder's Son Join BJP

Descendant of Maharana Pratap Vishwaraj Singh Mewar and Karni Sena founder Lokendra Singh Kalvi's son Bhavani Singh Kalvi joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Rajasthan ahead of elections scheduled for 25 November.

During the press conference, Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal said that their (the joining leaders') significant contribution will be in line with Prime Minister Modi's resolve to make India a developed country by 2047.

Bhavani Singh Kalvi, after joining the BJP, also expressed his views saying, "BJP is my team and I am its team player. Whatever the party asks me to do, I will do and make efforts to win the game."

According to ABP Live, Vishwaraj Singh said, "My ancestors (Maharana Pratap) have always thought for the welfare of all society, and with this thinking, today I am associated with the BJP."

State president CP Joshi and Rajasthan in-charge Arun Singh welcomed the two personalities into the party at BJP headquarters in New Delhi.
