Namaste! I'm Diksha Yadav, your host for ๐–๐ก๐š๐ญ ๐“๐ก๐ข๐ฌ ๐Œ๐ž๐š๐ง๐ฌ, a bi-weekly Swarajya podcast. Recently, we discussed why Haryana was showing a very muted response to the 'Delhi Chalo' protests by the farmers this time, on our show.

It turns out that, unlike the last time, this time neither there are strong reasons nor do the farmers of Haryana resonate with the ongoing protest.

Here's why:

One, the 'Khalistani' elements hijacked the protests from the very beginning.

Two, the farmers of Haryana and Western Uttar Pradesh have diversified their crops much more compared to the farmers of Punjab. For them, the issue isn't necessarily about securing Minimum Support Price (MSP) for all products.

Apart from this, Rohit Pathania explains three other major reasons on why ongoing farmers' protest is lacking strong support in our 9-minute podcast episode.
