Chhattisgarh Exit Polls: Congress Ahead But BJP Not Far Behind, Hung Assembly Possible Due To Neck-To-Neck Seats

India Today Axis-My India has estimated a vote share of 41 per cent for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and 42 per cent for Congress in Chhattisgarh election.

For the 90-seat assembly, the estimate is that BJP can get 36 to 46 seats, while the Congress can form government with 40 to 50 seats. However, Pradeep Gupta said that the situation is neck to neck and there can be a hung assembly.

Jan Ki Baat predicted 34 to 45 seats for BJP and 42 to 53 for Congress. India TV-CNX predicted 30 to 40 seats for BJP and 46 to 56 for Congress. TV5 predicted 29 to 39 seats for BJP.

ABP News-C Voter predicted 36 to 48 seats for BJP and 41 to 53 for Congress. Republic TV-Matrize predicted 34 to 42 seats for BJP and 44 to 52 for Congress.

Bhupesh Baghel-led Congress is expecting to retain power, while the BJP fought election on "Modi ki guarantee" and wants to get back to power after it lost in 2018.
