‘Ninth Pass Tejashwi Yadav Aspiring To Be CM’: Prashant Kishor Mounts Scathing Attack On Ruling JD(U)-RJD Govt During Jan Suraaj Yatra

Upping the ante against the ruling JD(U)-RJD coalition led by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, noted election strategist turned political operative Prashant Kishor on Saturday (Oct 8) termed the state's deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav a "ninth-pass" nursing chief ministerial ambitions.

"Laluji's son has studied till Class 9 and he is aspiring to become CM. And if your son has studied up to Class 9, he will not even get a job as a peon," Kishor said while addressing a gathering in West Champaran district's Dhanauji village as a part of Jan Suraaj yatra he is currently undertaking across the state.

Kishor has been mounting a fierce attack on Bihar CM Nitish Kumar during his ongoing Padyatra (foot march), which started from Gandhi Ashram at Bhithiharwa in West Champaran on October 2.

Kishor targetted Nitish Kumar, who took oath as CM for the eighth time last month after breaking off ties with old-time allies BJP, saying Fevicol should make him 'their brand ambassador' for being glued on 'CM Chair'.

Earlier this week, while addressing a public meeting at Jamunia village in Gaunaha block, Kishor claimed that CM Nitish Kumar had invited him to his residence and offered the mantle of his political successor.

"Many people criticised my decision to meet him (Nitish). But I went to tell him that no matter how big offer he will make to me, I would not step back from the promise I have made to the people even if he (Nitish) vacates the chief minister chair," Kishor added.

"We've seen many alliances being made and broken in Bihar... only one link doesn't break- between CM chair and Nitish Kumar, be it any alliance. It's exemplary; can be only done by him... Fevicol should make him their brand ambassador. We have been hearing the line 'Fevicol ka jod hai, nahi tutne wala hai' (it's Fevicol bond, won't break)," Prashant Kishor said,

Kishor's padayatra will continue for close to one-and-a-half years, covering the length and breadth of Bihar, which has 38 districts.

Kishor also launched a scathing attack on JD(U) national president Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh by terming the latter a 'dalal' (tout) and claimed that he had outrightly rejected Nitish's invitation to lead the party.
