Meanwhile, BJP leader CTR Nirmal Kumar said that the law and order situation in the state has went "upside down" in 10 months, refering to the time since DMK came to the power in the state.
No injury has been reported so far in the attack as it took place very early in the morning.

The police have reportedly begun the investigation and were reported to be checking CCTV footage from the area to trace the accused.
