The landing of Chandrayaan-3 on Moon's south pole will be livestreamed in schools across Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Assam.
The Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath led Uttar Pradesh government has directed the officials at all schools to make arrangements for livestreaming of the Chandrayaan-3's landing for students, India Today reported.
Meanwhile, all state-run schools in Haryana will open from 5 pm to 6 pm today to witness the landing of Chandrayaan-3 on moon, Haryana School Education Minister Kanwar Pal said on Wednesday.
"The state government has issued orders to the officials to telecast the landing live wherever possible. If some schools are left, the landing will be shown on Thursday to such students," the Haryana Minister said, reports Hindustan Times.
Similarly, the Assam education department has ordered schools to remain open till 6 pm on Wednesday to show the live telecast of the historic landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the Moon’s surface.
From hills to plains, all schools, from primary to senior secondary standards, have been asked to arrange the screening of the event, Times of India reported.
