Security forces have foiled another infiltration attempt by Pakistan-backed terrorists at the Line of Control (LoC) close to Kupwara in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K).

Army's Chinar Corps in a post at social media platform X (formerly Twitter) stated, "In a Joint Operation launched by army, J&K Police (JKP) & Intelligence agencies on 26 October 2023, an infiltration bid has been foiled by alert troops along the LoC in Kupwara sector."

The post further stated that "the search operation is under progress."

Just four days ago, on Sunday (22nd October), another infiltration bid was thwarted in the Uri sector in J&K, resulting in the elimination of two terrorists.

A comprehensive search of the encounter site was conducted, leading to the recovery of a large cache of war-like equipment.

This included two AK-series rifles, six pistols, four Chinese grenades, blankets, and two bags stained with blood. These bags contained both Pakistani and Indian currency notes, Pakistani medicines, and food items.
