Former Rajasthan minister Rajendra Singh Gudha alleged on Wednesday (2 August) that "100 per cent of the votes" in Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) elections of December 2022 were bought with money.

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot's son Vaibhav Gehlot is chairman of the RCA.

Taking reference from the claimed red diary, Gudha made corruption allegations against Rajasthan assembly speaker CP Joshi, Bhawani Samota and Rajeev Khanna along with other Congress leaders.

During the press conference, he expressed disappointment that no action was taken against those who snatched the red diary from him in the assembly, while he himself was suspended.

He accused the government of pressuring him and the Congress state leadership for an apology, suggesting that they were attempting to blackmail him.

Responding to queries about the ownership of the diary, Gudha suggested comparing the handwriting with that of RTDC chairman Dhamendra Rathore to clarify any doubts.

He revealed that the diary pages were snatched from him in the assembly by Congress MLA Rafeeq Khan, and instead of taking action against the culprits, he was expelled.

The diary page revealed by Gudha also names some government officers including IAS P Ramesh who is chairman of the Jaipur Metro Corporation and RAS Deva Ram Saini who is OSD (Officer on Special Duty) to the CM.

Gudha asserted that he intended to present the diary on the legislative assembly table to put everything on record. He also emphasized that the diary contained references to corruption within the RCA, and he specifically pointed out Vaibhav Gehlot.

Overall, Gudha's press conference raised concerns about the alleged corruption within the RCA and the actions taken against him following the incident with the red diary in the assembly.

Earlier, Gudha had asked for narco tests of the close aides of cabinet ministers suggesting their involvement in rape cases and other crimes against women.

On being asked about this, he said that he himself is ready for a narco test and will reveal things one by one with facts.
