The State Official Language (Legislative) Commission in Tamil Nadu will receive Rs 3 crore from the state government for translating the judgements of the Madras High Court into Tamil.
This allocation of funds aims to support the translation efforts and promote the use of Tamil in the legal system.
Chief Minister M K Stalin has said the allocation of funds will take place in due course of time.
The Tamil Nadu government believes that Tamil should be recognised as an official language of the Madras High Court.
The decision to allocate funds for translation is in line with this stance, as per Stalin.
