The eighth edition of Deepotsav in Ayodhya is set to witness the presence of Mahants and in-charges of all caste temples. They have been sent the due invitation.

A similar invitation is sent to Mahants of other Maths and temples every year. This invitation includes worshipped rice, sweets and an invitation letter.

The list of invitees has been prepared under the direction of Teen Kalash Tiwari Mandir and Ayodhya Mayor Mahant Girishpati Tripathi, Jagran reported.

A meeting of Mahants of all caste temples was held in Karsevakpuram a few days ago. In that meeting it was decided that an invitation will be sent to Mahants of all caste temples.

These Mahants will participate in the Deepotsav celebration alongside Mahants of other temples. Tripathi has confirmed the preparation of the invitee list.

This comes after Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met Mahants of all caste temples last month. Ayodhya has 36 caste temples.
